    Default Retrofit Bluetooth Car Kit

    Can you retrofit the following:
    Mobile phone system
Vauxhall’s factory-fit dual-band mobile phone system has been
considerably enhanced. Now fully integrated into the audio and
communication system, it also features voice control and will
connect wirelessly to phones with Bluetooth® technology.
All the required information is displayed on the graphic information
button on the radio. Certain functions can also be controlled
    by voice activation.
Mounted on the centre console, the phone system base unit can be
    fitted with cradles.

To be honest a local dealer has asked us to fit an aftermarket bluetooth kit to a demonstrator with the factory fitted bluetooth kit as they are getting fed up selling Vauxhalls own as an upgrade then it doesn't work with the customers phone when they come to collect the car. If a customer enquires about it they try pairing the phone up with Vauxhalls system, if it's not compatible they can sell them an aftermarket system at half the price.

Same here, the only problems I have had are with Symbian type phones i.e.Nokia N70 which don't implement the full Bluetooth handsfree protocol, that's Nokia's fault not Vauxhalls

Has anyone had this fitted by Vauxhall or managed t oby the loom fit it yourself? I called my local Pollokshaws VX branch ... they needed the chassis no to search on and finally said that it cannot be retrofitted. I find this hard to believe. I dont really want any addons stuck to the dash so just a simple bluetooth integrated kit would do me. Not even bothered if I cant get a cradle to charge it from.

Your Vectra has to have the factory fitted mobile phone loom
Without this you need to have the aftermarket kit fitted
I enquired about this on my previous Vectra and Pollokshaws quoted me £850 to upgrade and install, for a simple Nokia 8310, and to keep and operate with the TrafficMaster!

I now have a orange SPV M2000 (HTC) and have a windscreen mounted cradle/charger
There is no compatability with the Vectra factory fitted mobile phone loom for this phone, so it wasn't even an option of getting a quote!
I still have my Nokia 8310, but I don't use it while driving as I can use the SPV M2000 on talk-type, with its own bluetooth receiver
