Default Suspected oil cooler issues 1.9 cdti 150

Having just changed the cam belt and water pump thinking that the water pump was the issue for my water loss it now appears I have Mis-diagnosed.

i have water running from behind the oil cooler on the back of the engine, it has got progressively worse over the last few days, to the point where it now loses a lot quickly.

are there any issues that this may be? Is there a seal/gasket that has failed or is it something more major?

any help would be appreciated as its my taxi and currently off the road ;(

    TIA

Some pictures of the area concerned

this is where the water is coming from, the oil cooler on the back of the engine

This one is the filter housing, what's worrying is the level of oil around here, this looks quite sinister ;(

So far I have removed the alternator, diesel pump (and lost the woodruff key ;( ) and an still no close to finding the issue, are there any hoses around this area that may give problems, I have checked the two that feed/return from the cooler and they are ok, are there any that run along the back of the engine or between the cooler and the engine? i am tempted to take the cooler off and inspect, however I'm not sure what to expect!! There appears to be 3x15 mm bolts and 2x torx headed bolts, once I undo those and remove the cooler from the car will I get any fluid/oil escaping?

Finally found out the issue......a core plug !!!!

i have spent all day removing half the ancillaries on the engine just for a piece of metal that will most likely cost me less than a pound
whats the betting the local stealers won't have one in stock?
