noticed mine was a little misty more then normal other day i opened the rear heat vents aimed to window to help demist.
Mine is the same, and my boot is totally dry. Just turn on your A/C and it will help clear it quicker.
Happens quite a lot when it is damp outside and temperature not all that cold. As said, use your aircon, with or without heat according to taste,it works a treat in demisting screens and freshening the cabin, it's not just for hot days. Also gives your aircon an often well-needed bit of use.
How often do you clean the inside of the rear screen (if ever)?
The cleaner the screen surface, the less it should mist up and if it does, should clear quite quickly.
id check the boot for water just incase and check the screen heater voltage as mine starts to de mist the second i press the de mist button.
Any of you have a check safe message on the screen? Sometimes a sign that the window element is goosed!
Also, be aware that when using the aircon for short periods of time not all of the removed moisture is ejected from the system and some of it can enter back into the car when you turn it off. Might make it fog up again.
I tend to whack the heater on full until it's just about unbareable then open the windows a few mm. just enough so that the hot moist air can get out but no rain can get in It seems to get fid of quite a but of the 'loitering' moisture in the air.
