    Default do i need to

    disconnect the battery if i am removing the front seats. also, do i have to take the retainer off for the seatbelt (the bit what it clips into) and put them onto my new seats. was going to get somebody to do it for me but gnna do it myself (sri interior inc doorcards). oh, and will i need radio code ???? thanks in advance.

    U need to disconnect the battery for atleast 20 mins due to airbags the seat belt only thing I changed was the bolt holding the seat belt to seat as my new used seat didn't come with it there is 2 t50 bolts om the rear of the rails undo them and slide pull the seat back it will then come away unplug the air bag plug big plug under seat

    You only need the radio code if your car is half canbus.

    Full canbus doesn't require it.

    Half canbus = 6 buttons on steering wheel.

    Full canbus = 4 buttons and 2 scroll wheels.

    EDIT - just looked at your profile. As yours is a 2006, you won't need the stereo code.
