insignia test drive

I want to test drive an insignia for a few days, i had an idea to hire one from euro car rentals, i explianed everything to the sales person and after a long discusion he said ok now we will fill out the forms, i said what model will i get ? and he said i wont know untill it arrives you may get a mondeo or a passat even, i got up off my chair and walked out. any ideas people of how to get one for a few days?

Lee have you tried vx , as a while ago when i was looking at buying a car , i had fords . jags. and had them though only for the day , but i know a lot off dealers do test drives .

i tried vx they said half hour test drive was the best they could do for me......
