Replacement glass

Hi there

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement boot window with the heated element ?

autoglass places like that or scrap yard if you want to fit yourself

have you broke it or just the element ?

I brought a 2002 vectra c but someone tried tinting the window but I had to remove as it was done so poorly which meant the glue was left on the window, I tried cleaning but now I have remains of glue and a broken element

get some lighter fluid and a soft cloth wipe it down with that

you can buy a paint that will join up the tracks again think its about £7 from auto factors just use masking tape to keep a straight line

Will the lighter fluid make the glue come off easily or it is it hard work?

put plenty on and let it soak in a bit keep dabbing it on and it will loosen it it should then come off easy just keep plenty of fluid on it
