    Default K&N panel filter prices....

    Im in the process of buying a K&N panel filter of ebay and ive noticed that there is so many to chose from and prices are slightly different, my car is a 1.8 16v 2005, is the filter for my car the same size as the 1.8 vvt engine ? cheers.

    Been lookin myself for 1.8 16v have you had a look at this one with the free p&p it's cheaper than there own website http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1907285885...84.m1438.l2649

    Yes the 1.8 16v is the same as the 1.8vvt.

    That looks ok, it says for 2003 model but it should be the same as mine as i have the 05 model.

    Got mine for £38.32... On just checking the item again it's currently got 5% off so it's selling for £36.40 inc p&p

    (I'll just point out, it's not me! The only way I'm connected is that I've bought one off him!!)

    All Vec C and Signums use the same 33-2848 filter apart from the 2.8 v6

    ive just bought 1 for £38.09 posted, so not too far off the cheaper price .

    Never been a fan of the 'oil'd' filters, due to maf contamination. Anyone tried pipercross or similar..?

    I have pipercross on my 1.9 cdti zaffy mate had k&n on 1.9 vectra I would say pipercross is better
