    Default twin turbo 1.9 cdti vec

    Hi guys. Just wondered if anyone had made thei cdti into a twin turbo diesel like in the saab? Would it take much work to put it on a Vectra diesel?

    No really would need some thinking about but it could be done
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    they didnt use it because the current gearbox couldnt handle the torque

    The best way to twin a Vectra would be to fit a second large turbo in series down behind the engine. It could involve an electric oil pump and a seperate oil tank, exhaust modifications and intake pipework. I'd use a pressure actuated setup to control it to a set max pressre of something like 1 bar.

    The gearbox is rated for 300lbft and the torque can be limited to that easily enough as they have done with other engines, including the new bi-turbo Astra and Insignia

    They use the ECU to control the turbos and are not VNT turbos I believe, so it would require alot more work, including mapping if the ECU was capable of controlling it.
