    Red face Well theres a first!

    So went out to do an oil and filter change and replace the rocker cover gasket on the wifes punto.

    Up on the ramps, sump plug off, oil filter off, new oil filter on, air filter housing off, rocker cover off, rocker cover gasket off, cover cleaned, new gasket on, oil in.

    Anyone spot the glaring mistake?

    Easy done.

    Today I did a service on my Bora, oil, air,fuel, pollen.

    Took off the sump plug,filter, drained the oil, refitted new plug and filter.

    Started the car. 2 seconds later said " OH ****" and switched it off pronto as I hadn't actually put any new oil in.

    I had only started refilling, but Its amazing how much mess 1lt of oil can make! Thank god for AS G101 too.

    Never forgotton the sump plug - just the filler cap. That makes a nice enough mess
