Default Omg pmsl lmfao lol rofl etc

Is it just me or is this getting out of hand. All these acronyms for things like "laugh out loud" "**** myself laughing" or whatever. For those who insist on including these in every post you write. Try reading your post back to yourself and actually physically **** yourself laughing when you put PMSL and actually laugh out loud when you put lol and then actually roll on the floor laughing when you put rofl...... I don't think I've ever read a post that has made me actually physically roll on the floor with laughter or wet myself.

Sound like a bunch of school kids to me... that is all

using lol can set the tone that you'd normally hear when someone speaks to you.

And tbh with some of the things that go on in this place you do find yourself laughing out loud anyway

What really gets me is when someone posts in the wrong section

OMG..... I saw this and I rofling for hourz!!

    Sorry, Couldn't resist!
I agree.. you can't set the tone of a post on the forum, and a lot of squabbles break out over misunderstandings on tone of a post I think.
A "lolz" seems to be the modern way of expressing tone.

"Yolo" seems to be the latest one!

    Actually...

In some cases, there can be events or words so funny I could sometimes hardly breathe.

Maybe the image is a bit exaggerated... But not always so much.
