Is there a aux on the back so I can plug my iPhone in if anyone knows

Depends on its age but even the older ones can be modded if you are good with a soldering iron have a search on aux in

U would need to do the mod then mate. 57plate on has the aux

Whilst on the subject, i have read the numerous posts on the subject of adding Aux-in to a CD70. However, what i cant quite seem to work out is how it all connects to the female 3.5mm Jack Plug or if you have one the 3.5mm jack in the tray beneath the heater controls.

Can anyone enlighten me?
