We did an inspection on that place on my Trading Standards work placement, we rigged up a car then put it in for a service, the *******s sliced up not one, not two, but all three wiper blades (among other things) during their 'serivce', then clamined they needed replaced. Pity they picked the wrong car lol I'd never use them for a service now.

I like to think that the fitters spot our club stickers on the cars and think twice before trying on something like that as we have all sorts of 'experts' on here.

That's the agent I use for servicing
I would recommend you lay a trap or two
Once they realise you are aware what your car is like and their standard of service they tend to be more cautious and actually perform the work CORRECTLY

I would recommend you check the front and rear brake pad measurements
Remove the air filter and write the date on it
Place a mark on the oil and fuel filters
Adjust the tyre pressures so that they are ALL incorrect (excluding the spare)
    Empty the washer reservoir
Remove the nearside middle (wing) indicator bulb

Find out how much the oil is, as I have found it is cheaper to supply my own

Make sure you mention you have the Arnold Clark 10% discount card
If not, I have a spare one...
Anyone can borrow this, providing they return it to me!

Remove ALL your property from the car
Finally, present your car VERY dirty
This will then show up any hand prints, so you can see that they did indeed open up the rear doors and boot
Set the odometer to zero and take a note of the mileage

Normally the car is jet washed if the car is presented dirty, so it gets a free wash

    Another hint
If your car has niggles, DO NOT report them at service
They should find them during it...
Get the car back, and then take it back the next day and give them a good kick!
