tyre fitted wrong way around

My daughter curbed her car pinched the side wall resulting in an impact puncture,so I bought a part worn tyre and on inspection have noticed its been fitted with rotation arrows pointing in the wrong direction. Idiots now Im have to go and get it switched tomorrow as the garage is closed.

anyone else had this happen? ajn

It's right for the other side of the car tho

Yep... Learned a while ago to check this there and then... Even main stream garagfes make this mistake!

I had 4 winter tyres done ( on spare rims ) and it was only several months later whe I went to use them I realised there were 3 one way and 1 the other.

To be fair they did swap them for free - but they kow me.

Took it back this morning all sorted now free of charge as he said he didn't ask what side it was to be replaced on off side or near side. Ajn

yep!.. Kwik Fit in Beverley removed wheels and re-balanced (from kwik fit in grimsby doing a kak job) - re fitted on wrong sides. Luckily as they backed it out, I wagged my finger at them and said re- do it properly. Following the tracking was done and the left my steering wheel about 15 degrees off level - had to take it to North Lincs Tyres to have the job done properly.
