did you fit the thermostat as well as the housing ? silly question i know but hey you never know lol
It's probably your air temperature mixer servo goosed on your air box a common problem do a search you will soon see.
What temp is your engine running at?

Went to a mate at the garage. He pumped the pipes. Now running low. Might be needing more pumping through!! But interested to know details about air temp mixer thingy

Did it with mate in garage. He made it look easy but hard part is slipping the rubber hoses off the fitting point. U need to slightly move with small slot driver then twist it to make it unstick then pull off.
The fitting bracket is a pest to move. U'll see just under the thermostat... Bend it outward slightly to be able to remove it freely. U'll get some water gushing out but not too much lol. Dont forget to clean the area where rubber washer latchs to when new housing fitting back on. Dirt vs rubber. Dirt wins!!!

Did you pull the hoses off the heater matrix when you refilled the system? I think you have to do this to get rid of any air in the matrix...
How long did it take roughly, i should be ok as long as i keep my cool lol
Put heater temp on full, and remove the bleed screw on the front top coolant pipe until coolant flows out. This will ensure any trapped air escapes. Then take if for a run. Let is stand with it ticking over and watch the temp guage. Should increase up to 92 before the fan cuts in. Heater should be hot at this point
In reply to what PAULHB said, I had my air temp mixer go on mine. Turn the ignition on but do not start the car. Put fan speed on 1, then adjust the air temp hot to cold and back again. Listen for the motor (very quiet) as you turn the temp up and down.
