Default SRI to VXR Front Bumper

    Hey All,

Can someone just confirm the following for me... If i wanted to go down the SRI to VXR front bumper option, apart from the front bumper itself, i would also need:

    The fog lights (x2)
Wiring Harness for the fogs (x2)

I guess its a case of the wiring harness then plugging into the existing fog connections?

Also, what is involved in getting the washer jets on the bumper operating?

    Cheers
    Aidi

Do you need fog lights? Are they different?

I am pretty sure they are different to the ones fitted the SRI bumper - and require additional loom to make them work.

Yep, they're completely different. VXr fog light are completely round and are fitted from behind the grill with 4 screw-on lugs.

You'll also need replacement center and fog grills (plus the optional chrome surrounds if you want, that fit from the rear, between the grill and the round fog light).

I wasn't sure about the loom ; VXr fog lights use H11 bulbs whose plug will protrudre outside the projector housing, so the loom should directly plug into the bulb itself rather than into an intermediate connector.

However, maybe the SRi fog light housing connector is compatible already, so you might still not need any extra loom.

I really don't know there actually, and opeloem.com being down doesn't help... I was storing the Vectra C part of the site when they brutally cut it down... The required picture is in the "P" section, and the capture unfortunately stopped at the "M" folder !

However, the TIS does show a unique loom connector that really looks the same as the one that would be needed to plug into a H11 bulb, so chances it's OK already are very high.

Yes is complete new bumper , and foglights are different , as for wiring harness u only need adapters which they ate 7£ ish from dealers.,,, for installing headlight washers u need new washer bottle with pump, extra plug for pump itself or retrofit one, house and washers , tech2 or Vauxcom required to enable them....
