ive been on ebay it appears there is 32mm 36mm and 38mm none of the bay sellers are really giving much details in the listing as to what is the correct size!, i even tried to seacrh one for the siggy but cant find one.

this is the search term: vauxhall oil removal tool

hopefully some one can give a 100% on this, as i dont wanna end up having to send one back then buy another lol

Don't you have a Halfords 150 piece socket set - it has a 32mm socket in there. If you have the set, try the socket on the filter cap, and if the socket is too small, then it must be 36mm

i just used an adjustable one, didnt see the point in me buying the correct sized spanner, i would never use it again, at least with an adjustable one i can use it for other bits and bobs,

yep i have the 150 set, but none of the sockets fit the plastic bolt head on the oil filter housing, i will try and get a bigger one, or as the other lad said get a big ajustable.

Question is, will you be able to get enough access to the filter cap to use that?
