Just agreed to buy an Insignia ES Sports Tourer

Hi Guys

just looking some input before i hand over the cash on Thursday.

A local garage has for sale a July 2010 Insignia ES ecoFLEX Sports Tourer in black... 23K miles, tow-bar, front and rear parking sensors, electric height adjust seats, bluetooth stereo, 17" alloys and fog lights.

All is in good condition, but I cant really decide if it is good value as I cant find where in the range the ES falls...

I believe it is S, Exclusive, ES, SRi, SE, Elite... however the spec is somewhere in between...

I think the alloys and fogs are part of a plus pack, but the electric seats and upgraded stereo don't seem to match... not that I am complaining

Only difference between it and an SE i was looking at is it has silver interior trim instead of wood and also does not have chrome around the windows which the exclusive, etc does have.

any suggestions?

ES was an early derivative then dropped in 2011 m/y your car has the plus pack as you say and the flat face 17" alloys unless I am mistaken. Internal trim will be satin grey around the console as in exclusive trim.

Pics would be useful to set where it sat in the pecking order as I "think" your list is correct it sat next to the exclusive not sure if above or below though.

ES replaced S as base spec and still sits below Exclusiv. New trim ES Tech sits above Exclusiv and has satnav, DAB radio, Bluetooth, Mobile Phone Cradle, 17" alloys.
