confused 10k Power Boost for diesels

Hi all my 1.9cdti 150 Veccy is almost ay 100,000 and I thought rather than changing the inlet manifold due to the amount of gunk I found on the boost pressure sensor I thought I would try 10k power boost as a sought of De-coke, any views on this product. Thanks G

never used that stuff myself but i have used Forte Advanced Diesel Treatment with good results, ran much smoother after but then again i'm not having problems with my inlet. That's same engine as yours and similar mileage

It does work and does clear the manifold, only reall issue I have is the clumps of soot/oil that become loose and may potentially cause problems. That's just me, having said that I think few on here have done it. Lots of smoke will come pouring out of the exhaust by all accounts.

The Forte stuff is more what the trade use.

NO IT DUSNT!... thats why theres a how2 on here to take the manifold off to clean it?

it however WILL clean the bits it comes into contact with but thats not very much.

if it did clean the manifold, all the main dealers would do it and everyone on every forum would be screaming its praises but they don't.

imrscherti.. try it mate, and after you'v done it, take the inlet manifold off and see what sort of a job its done and post pictures on here

and thats the exact reason why i wont use it. all it needs is to dislodge a lump of soot and that sits on the valve seat and causes a boat load of problems.
