Tbh after seeing the mgb last week ill stick to Corrie and Eastenders, it's more believable
think ill give it a miss , though was watching some wheeler dealers this morning ( waiting on plasma turning up ) .
Absolute garbage. turned it over to watch the News.
Having heard what I've heard about it, I'll be avoiding it. Those two are bodgers extraordinaire. I wouldn't let them near my car. Paul
I wonder if Mario really pranged the back end of that Jaguar the other week by accident , after it " Apparently " had just been resprayed .
or was it just for so called entertainment purposes ?
Yes ........ i agree the arguments and so called accidents ( e.g. = last weeks axle falling off on the ramp ) are a bit staged and the terrible acting does not help .
One way to gauge how genuine the accident / argument is i have found ............... Is to not look at the people concerned with the incident but at the surrounding mechanics / bodyshop people , as i have found them trying to hide their laughs / smirks , while trying to look shocked or serious .
My lass laughs when on Top Gear , Jeremy's car door falls off for no reason and i tell her that doors " Just don't fall off " , they would have to be loosened for entertainment purposes .
Even on The Only Way is Essex , there is a sort of disclaimer notice put up with the titles saying ,
" Some Scenes Are Set Up For Entertainment Purposes "
So do the Clairvoyant programmes and Dynamo Magigian have a sign that admits that the items on the show are for " Entertainment " purposes .
At least they are honest , maybe Top Gear & Classic Car Restoration should warn viewer that it's not all true too == L.O.L.
Last nights was terrible when the fellow comes to look the car over and give them a price the bonnet didnt fit and the passenger door didnt close properley.
Watched a little of the mgb one last week, lost interest n turned it off
Does anyone watch that new car show called ...
" Strippers : Cars For Cash " on the Nat Geo channel .
http://natgeotv.com/uk/strippers-cars-for-cash
It makes a change for a car programme to break down cars instead of fixing them .
Two teams ( each team has one mechanic and one car dealer ) buy similar cars for £ 3,000 or less and have to sell the parts for a profit and obviously the one who makes the most wins .
One of the car dealers is called Frankie Oatway and he acts like he thinks he is a cheeky chappy geezer type with his rhyme and slang and turn of phrases ,
but ends up looking like more like a stupid wally .
The programme has a voice over by Boycie from Only Fools & Horses .

By the way this programme is about as good or should that be bad as Classic Car restoration ......... ......
Including the fake set up scenes .......L.O.L.

P.S. == What ever happened to Leepu ?

Watched that MGB one too. 2 weeks to restore a total rust bucket? FFS some people would spend 2 weeks restoring the wheels. No way they spent 2 weeks restoring that, I dont care what anyone says.
