To have someone come to the house and fit all 4 apex 35mm lowering springs for me?

I'd say so... A couple of hours work, plus their expenses, fuel, tools etc...

If you're not equipped to do it yourself, sounds like a good deal.

Assuming it's someone reputably who isn't going to trash your car.

I paid 45 to have 4 shocks fitted, so a little steep but they are coming to you.

Just over 17 quid a corner is a bargain as compressing springs for swop over is time consuming even with everything going well. I'd charge 100 as I have a proper spring compressor that cost me a pretty penny to be sure I stay safe and no damage is caused to the customers car. At the end of the day you are paying for tools time and knowledge the guy has earnt. Bargain!!

Those rear springs can be a pain in the bum as well...

The last couple of times I've done the job I've had a nightmare manouevering the compressed springs so they stay in such a position as I can still unscrew the compressors.

Even i can do my own rear springs, easy peasy. Just need a large foot to keep the trailing arm down whilst you pull the spring out.
Not a bad deal you got there thou, as i couldnt do the fronts either.

Really?! Mine were a bit of a nightmare!

Couldn't get the base of the spring high enough to lift over the bottom mount (the one which looks like a huge nipple!)

I am on standard springs though, are you on nice low SRi springs?
