Creaking noise as car stops

Car makes a horrible creak as it comes to a dead stop.

It's completely silent over the pot-holes and speed humps, this only happens under braking.

Anyone got any ideas? Shocks, springs, ARB bushes, drop links, strut top bearings etc are all new.

Good suggestion but I "silenced" them yesterday! (temporarily anyway, good blast of WD40!)

The driver's creaking old bones ?

I had this and think it was to do with the brake pins sticking. My garage took them out cleaned them, applied copper greese and that seemed to silence them

Cheeky git! I'm not that old! (although after a session in the gym my bones do feel like they should creak!)

Innes, I've recently done a full brake service, cleaned up the slide pins and applied silicone grease to them. Was that the wrong grease to use? I can always pop them back out and spray some copper grease on instead

I tend to use copper grease on anything like this but thats because my dads taught me old school. I dont know if silicone grease is any better or worse.
