Default update on cruise control problems

hi after further investigation and using my m8s vaux-com when we go to measuring blocks under engine we can try the clutch pedal and brake pedal switches before i put my foot on the pedals they are saying

    brake switch 1 - inactive

    brake switch 2 - inactive

    clutch switch - active

when i press the brake pedal they go to active i press clutch its goes to inactive i think that may be my problem with clutch switch as it thinks the pedal is pressed so will not allow cruise to function.

however i replaced the switch with a genuine vauxhall one today still the same can any one confirm with theres if you have a diagnostic machine to read them.

please help if you can as doing alot of m,iles and really missing cruise control

I think its inactive as in not being pressed. I think ur cruise control is on the blink. Get car to a garage with cruise control knowledge to look around the car to figure out the problem.

Remember... Cruise only comes on after 25mph if i can remember... Wont come on under the limit.
