Default Just Done A Red Bull Kid.

Well ive just finished my Red Bull Kid mod, which just entailed colour coding my standard SRi black splitter thing star silver.
    Before,

    after,

It looks spot on, but would have looked even better if I knew what to do with a spray can.

So any of you guys out there with a light coloured car its well worth it. Star Silver 3 paint from VX dealer only cost about £8 and you get a tin of clear coat as well. Seen this done on a red car as well and looked great, think it was CYB's old vec.

Yep mate, went for vx ones because I thought they would be a better match. You also get a tin of clear coat as part of the deal. I bought 2 tins of paint as im not that good with them but If your any good you should be alright with one.I used flexi white plastic primmer as thats what vx use (god knows why) a darker primer will give a darker finish. Just gave it a rub down in between each coat (4 primer 2 colour and 2 top coat. I still have a little dimple effect as that is how the splitter was to start with. In retrospect I should have rubbed it all back to start with a smooth surface, but hay you live and learn. You can also buy "filler primmer" which would take out these dimples but I dont know if they are that flexible.
