Default No hot air coming out of heaters

Ive noticed since i bought my vectra 1.9cdti that the temperature gauge takes a while to get above 70 degrees.

This morning jumped in the car and started my drive to work, when i put the heaters on after about 5 minutes there was no hot air coming out all the way to work, which is a 45 mile trip, also the temperature gauge didnt move at all.

So my question is this, is it definately the thermostat that will need replacing or is their anything else i should look for 1st. Also if it is the thermostat ive heard that it can be a bit of a pain of a job. Also how much roughly will one cost me

I know a few people you could try and shove behind the dash. All they do is spout hot air. Lol

Is it the 120 or the 150 - the 150 is a lot easier to do than the 120
There is a How2 for the 150 http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...150-Thermostat and loads of previous for the 120

Does the temperature gauge rise upwards if you're stationary for a length of time?

If so, the thermostat is goosed.

Pleasure - the 150 is a bit simpler than the 120 - from what you describe it sounds like the thermostat - you'll notice a big difference when it's done
