    We get letters periodically about it but they're assuming that this guy is a.) bothered, b.) literate and c.) a law abiding citizen.

    My kids school has a road wide enough for 2 way traffic ,

    but when parents park up on the path ( half on ) , it becomes a one direction at a time only road .

    Then it's a battle to see who gives way first , whether it's your right of way or not .

    ================================================== ====

    Have you noticed these days ,

    people do not wait for you to finish your 3 point turn and then let you drive off ,

    they wait until you are half way through ( maybe that should be two thirds = L.O.L. ) and then cut across the front of you .

    Are lives so short they can't wait an extra 5 to 10 seconds .

    Yes! They also don't till all the cars have passed before opening doors, not only that they get their kids out of the car and into the road when there are cars coming. What's wrong with planning ahead and parking with your child's door to the kerb side.

    Also NEVER give way, it's like accepting defeat, LOL

    That is ludicrous - should be getting towed if they're on zigzag lines! Noone gives enough of a sh** these days unless someone's hurt/killed! Prevention is better than cure!

    Should have strapped it to the back of the Siggy and dragged it down the road whilst he was inside

    What also gets on t1ts is people parking in parent and toddler spaces, they get out have no toddler or they have a kid who is about 8years old, I dont mind disabled people parking there. Not risking lives i know but still bugs the hell out of me.

    parent and child spaces its not restricted to toddlers it is upto age 14yr iirc

    now parking like a plank outside a school is just stupid. if i could my son would have to drop n role out the car as i go past the gates lol.

    stop,let him out,watch him through the gate and away. under 30 seconds most days

    Parking like that is just bone idle...
    I don't often do the School run as we leave work early & our childminder does all that, but when I do occaisonally i park a good distance away & walk the hundred yards or so down tp the school, make life much easier.
