3.0 V6 CDTI (04) Tyre sizes

Really simple one I hope. Will 215/55/17 fit my V6 CDTi 2004? I currently have 215/50/17. Thanks guys.

No real reason it won't but it will put the speedo out a tiny bit. try 225/45/17 as its a recommended size and is in the hand book. Plus they fit with no issues. Yes the speedo will be slightly out, but again, only by a tiny amount.

make sure you fit them in pairs too.

No, its just I have inherited a new set of 4 Goodyear 215/55/17's and it seems a shame to let them go to waste. I didnt want to spend time changing them to find they dont fit. Thanks for the info.

Mate, i'd go for it. I'm changing from 225/40/18 to 225/45/18. TBH i think with the weight of the V6 Derv it could do with just that bit extra... Make sure they're XL rated though....
