    Default hids....

    fitted them last sunday, canbus friendly with cancellors worked great all week then passenger side last nite on way home didnt want to know, when i got home turned off ignition, then on again,it comes on!!. tonite they were working fine till i got home and now the drivers side isnt coming on.... if its dry tomorrow then the bumpers coming off again, any ideas as to the cause?? cheers!

    try changing the settings in the UEC to xenons present , it might help .

    Check the pins between the cancellers and the ballasts, I had to bend one of them(only very slightly) to get a better contact. BTW if you got canbus friendly ones you shouldn't need to run the cancellers.

    I had niggles with my HID'S until I replaced the connectors with the crimp on type. No problems now for a year or so.Best 50P mod ever.

    I had this exact same problem. I checked all fittings swapped around ballasts and bulbs to see what was at fault. Ended up changng the ballast and now its working fine. I would return the ballast if you can. Oh i also had these problems with the xenon option switched on.

    Oh it will eventualy die on you. Might take awhile but it will happen.

    took out cancellors, nothing.swapped ballasts, then neither side worked!! swapped back over and still nowt on either side. eventually i gave up and stuck the original bulbs back in.. lol hids for a week!! it was good while it lasted!

    I would agree with chris it could be the ballast but when you do fit them on you have to flick em on and off so they warm up with the car its worth a try mate
