    Default Rear wiper removal

    went to the local scrappy , and got a new type one
    came off easy , undid the nut and tugged off , simples

    went to replace mine
    not a chance , solid , nut off wd40 , molegrips , lots of swearing , etc

    any advice

    as i dont want to break the rear screen

    I had to borrow a wiper arm puller to get mine off, was a complete **** to get off.

    Try again today, but calmly wiggle it... I tried all sorts but once I calmed down and took my time it came off lol.

    Try push down slightly on the hinged bit of the arm an wiggling

    I left the nut on mine & set it level with the threads , then managed to get mole grips under the edge of the arm & on the nut .
    clamped them tight & it popped loose .

    Mate with a hammer gently tap the sides and pull at the same time the shock alows it to riggle off

    It's the old 'aluminium + steel + water' combination. Corrosion tends to weld the arm onto the shaft as a result, so using a puller is the most consistent way to ensure you remove it without damage.

    kev,s trick worked nut back on , and molegrips
    i just looked the other way ,lol
    newer wiper is much better
    just need to get the old scrape off the window , always summat !
