Get a mitt or wool mitt from Asda (cheapest)

Don't use a sponge use 2 buckets if u can
    Products I would recommend
A decent shampoo I use turtle wax bit used to use autoglym shampoo conditioner
Wheels bilberry wheel cleaner and meguires tyre gel
Polish I would go for poorboys black hole on ur car as its black that will create a good shine point remember its all in the prep so if u really want more shine clay ya car them polish after the polish u want a sealant/wax I would recommend collinite as its cheap easy to use and very long lasting hope this helps

As marc said, wool mitt, Im using Zymol shampoo at the moment. Remember its not so much the wax that gives it the deep shine but the hard work you put in at the polishing stage, the wax just seals in your hard work.

It's the right time of year to start collecting bits too, less proper washes. Usually start running out of stuff towards the end of the summer

Before you start i would recommend claying it. Then the wash and wax results will be superb.
