    Default high revs

noticed today when i stop in my 2.2 dti auto the revs are almost 1000, since ive had it its been 800, if im at the lights holding on the brake it almost seems like its still trying to pull a bit, throttle position sensor??? the revs stay at almost 1000 when in park aswell.

Could be a sign of your alternator on its way, they hold a higher rev at idle to maintain a tidy voltage, just an idea though

would it cause it to still feel like its in gear though, it really vibrates the car until i stick it in n or p, then the revs stay the same but stops vibrating the car
