What should i get???

Hi everyone, I think i have my 3.2 V6 looking good on the outside so have moved on to upping the power. Have a K&Npanel filter in the post and i'm gonna mod the airbox to increase the intake but i can't find a decent performance exhaust system despite having trawled through the mags. Can anyone advise me on how to sort this, do i need to get something created out of a system designed for another similar car? I want a stainless system that makes a bit of noise too. Dont want to deafen the neighbours though. Once i get her breathing freely i wil get her chipped and then i think a lightened flywheel but please advise me if i am going in the right direction here. Very nice mota you got there is it ex police???
i think you are going along the right lines for the mods you want i would look at a power flow exhaust or there is a magnex one on ebay at the moment as far as the flywheel goes i dont know if anyone does a lightened one yet but get in touch with courtney or regal as they are the people to talk to another good upgrade is to uprate the spark plugs for some iridium ones have a word with Big Phil as he has had some very good results with his GSI !!!!!

Thanks for that advice Drinky, i dont know if it was a police car or not but only had 18000 on the clock at 2.6 years old when i got it so i think not. No holes in roof lining or dash either. Will check out those plugs right away.

I know Courtenay do a flywheel replacement for £500 that knocks 10 kg of weight of it so should be well worthwhile. I wish Vaux wouldnt have put such a rediculously heavy one on in the first place. No need for them in this country.

Thanks Spoons, it looked awful when i got it. Had horrific little 16 inch alloys on it with the highest profile tyres i have ever seen on a car. Bonnet had been hit by a comet and the front grill was broken. The dealers couldnt sell it although heaps of people had looked at it. I saw some potential and went for it and got it cheap i think. The new alloys, rear spoiler and front grille transformed it into another car and my mate resprayed the whole bonnet for me.

Keep yer twin exhausts at the rear standard.

There's a guy a few streets away from me who has a 2.2 Direct in the same colour as my car and has some sort of big bore twin exhausts on it.

They look simply awful.

They look like they belong on some little Saxo or something, just dont suit the Vec at all.

I'll get some pics next time I'm passing, I dont think the fella is a member here.

But if he is.........change yer zorsts back, they look daft!!!!
