    Default Baby Seats Again

With a new one on the way which is due in March we've started to look at a new travel system push chair come car seat carrier. I know when we first got our Vectra we soon realised the back seat was odd & had to go out & get a suitable seat so does anyone know what carrier car seats are suitable?
I did see someone here had a genuine Vauxhall one for sale for the Vectra but we want one which comes out of the car straight onto the push chair with out having to disturb the little dev err I mean darling.
Have seen an ISOfix base to fit the seat to but that's £75 alone. Does anyone know if the bases which are secured by the seatbelt fit the Vectras back seat?

    Any ideas?

Same here, our Graco system is similar to that and the rear facing car seat attached to the pram. Very useful when the baby is asleep !

Now that he's bigger we have a Britax First Class seat which is brilliant, can't fault it

We do have a Graco travel system from about 3 years ago but the actual push chair frame has become a bit loose & worn at the hinged part when locked together so I'm being presuaded it needs replacing
We know have a Britax Maxi Cosi which is certainly the best fitting car seat we came across when we got the Vectra.

Is this rearward facing seat on a base attachment fixed in the car so you don't have to mess around with seatbelts all the time and was it in the Vectra you had it fitted?

I think it will fit either way, we used the belt for ours but my brother has a very similar Graco seat which came with a base thingy which the seat attaches to.

ya the base is fixed using your seatbelt the child seat then just clips in and out. had no probs with the bucket seats in my GSi.

hi ben, i have a britax ultra travel system i need rid of if you were interested, we got it about a year ago but only used it for 6 months as the little one wouldnt fit in it. the car seat part fits very well in the rear bucket type seats in the veccy, which is why we bought it after lots of testing various systems.
have a look http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.asp...Systems/734225, this one is very similar in style and colour.
