hi all if a vectra doesnt come with the obc and big screen can it fitted after market?

what vectra you got, i fitted the full standard screen to my old preface, had all trip info and warnings working too, all i had to do was activate the stalk controls

got the screen for free as i done some graphics (self employed and make car stickers) for a guy that breaks cars, they were going for around £20 at the time, and the stalk cost a fiver, the programming i had done with one of those diagnostic readers, tech2 or opcom, you just go into the CIM settings and clicking set the stalk to 'active'

only other thing i had to get was a washer bottle sensor, as mine didnt have one, all the other sensors were on the car already, so as soon as i plugged the screen in, i had trip info, mpg, fluid level warnings if low, fuel warning, ice warning etc

that guide is worth reading from start to finish, as you need to get a specific screen for your car, and preferably from one with the same size engine, otherwise that will need programming too, to get accurate trip info
