As a followup, if you're starting to think you're not getting much heat coming out, you may want to keep an eye on the engine temperature... see how long it takes to get to the normal operating temp (which is generally about 85ish) and take note if it drops noticeably when moving. Might be the thermostat is dead or dying.

Also if your centre vents are blowing cold when it is set to heat it could be an indication that the head gasket is on it's way out.

It got new screw in but it was tight and now broken but i need to release any air trapped in there. Since then it always been blowing cold on full heat setting...

The temp gauge always have been around 85 and not dropped. But goes to half way when hot outside which is normal,

I just need location of coolant, top up if needed.

Sort this stupid plastic screw and replace with metal screw but dunno what i need to do!!!

If you think you may have an airlock in the coolant system... put the heater on to full hot and direct it to the vents.... remove the cap from the coolant expansion bottle in the engine bay and start the engine. Get the engine up to normal temperature and keep it running until you feel for hot air coming from the vents. Keep an eye on the coolant level and top up (probably best with neat anti-freeze) as required.

All engines in the Vectras appear to have coolant expansion bottle on the firewall, to the back right of the engine as you're stood at the radiator.

ok, a wee bit of a diversion from your post above and maybe you have already tried this. Remove the cap from the water expansion tank, ensure it is roughly correct level. Start the engine and put heater to full heat. Run this for approx 20 minutes. Switch off engine, replace cap and take for a drive. This may clear out any airlocks.

You can also try squeezing the water pipes whilst the engine is running, this can sometimes help the air lock along?
