Gearbox oil

Good evening
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction please?
Im servicing my car at the end of the month and was going to do my gearbox oil just because.
The question is whats the best oil to use and how much should I put back in?

Depends on which box is fitted m8. Give some more details of your motor & will get back to you.

Sorry I was being a muppet. I have a 2.0t I'm not sure what gearbox I have got.

Just looked at my book & it only covers up to 55 reg year & it doesn't cover the 2.0T. Someone will come along to tell you soon.

I just bought some for mine & it was cheapest at my local vauxhall dealer. Also,if you give them a call with your reg no, they will tell you what you need & the capacity.
