    Default Best drilled discs & pads for 2.0 turbo

    What's the best drilled discs front/rear for my 2.0 turbo and pads I had a look on eBay and prices vary I don't want to spend a fortune or spend to little as it comes to brakes it's one of the items I won't scrimp on

    there not that good mate tbh better with mintex or gm ones

    i went for mtech discs and mintex pads on mine

    I have got mtec grooved discs and mintex pads all round on my turbo and I think there great for the money you pay.

    I opted for the mtec drilled & grooved but decided on decent pads so chose the preditor pads. This set-up is pretty good imo..

    I also went for the mtec drilled & grooved but mine is a 2.2 dti and i noticed a big difference
    and i fitted them long before my standards were done

    Fitted drilled & grooved discs w/ EBC pads. Works good, but not better than standard discs with good pads.
    Unfortunately the drilled/grooved discs were noisy (like drone) when braking, a total show stopper for me..

    Another note: Some vented after market discs does not handle heat as well as OEM and will end as a shaking experience. Maybe because the mass inside the discs aren't as accurately distributed during the initial mould.

    Think u better off upgrading ur brakes ie 314 or 345 and stick to oem stuff . Also drilled grooved can be more noisy

    i also have mtec drilled and grooved disks with mintex pads, no issues and low dust.. front brakes also upgraded to 314 with Goodridge braided hoses all round..
