My son has made an appoitment to go and see the car in the link below and wondering could anyone tell me what the engines in these are like and any info on the elegence spec at all please and should cambelt be changed etc please, any help is greatly appreciated thank you

My dad had one exact same a few years ago the engine not bad bit gutless but does pull the elegance is also quite speced aswell cambelt should be changed if not already

If he is young will be a alright car then I thought was quick when I drove my dads but I was 19 lol and had a 1.8 vectra b so was quick compared to that

My advise would be if he has it clean egr and boost sensor and replace all the vac lines. Total cost about 10 quid all in and prevention measures are better than cures later. It has no cam belt on the dti as it's chin driven
