    Default Broken injector? Not sure

    Could anyone tell me if this injector look dodgie I know it had to see on pics but no3 injector is damp all round it and there seems to be a black coal like substance at the base to anyone got any thoughts cdti 150 55plate

    Don't look good, have you had a look when its running. Best to try and clean it all out first and see if it comes back. It may well be leaking from the union that goes to the injector and then burns off leaving the black stuff

    That is what happens when they leak and the combustion gasses build up over time.

    When they are like that they are a nightmare to get out to clean up and replace the copper washers to seal it again.

    Just a dodgy injector seal which is pennies. As said removing them is the problem.

    Well it's not an injector is it? They can be removed and the seal cost pennies. What repair on a car is good news, but not the end of the world is it?

    All I said was it's not good news and I am getting ripped to pieces, any reason why?

    How are you getting ripped to pieces. Did I quote you? All I said was the seal was dodgy and it cost pennies you decided to rip me up. If you wanna report my posts be all means do it Lee because ultimately I could not care less.
