Default removal of cdr 2005 is reducing me to tears. PLEASE help!!!!!!!!!!

So I just can't get the effing piece of s*** to come out. I've basically removed the whole dash and can't see any way of pulling the thing out.

I've put the forks in but they do nothing at all.

Please help I've been at it 3 DAYS now.

This is the state of play with the dash

These are the forks that came with the new radio where exactly should I insert them cause they go the whole way in and dont catch a thing.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can end my misery.

you need a different removal tool. without the tool you can do it with 4 small screwdrivers or drill bits, you insert them in the four round holes on fascia, they will release the locking clips down the side..

Well now I feel like a retard.

You'd think they would of send me a double din removal tool with the cage and facia surround I bought rather than the one they sent me!

Do I need to put the facia back on to do this?

Thanks for the quick replies I really was loosing my mind.

You dont need to put the fascia back on, although use it to find which holes the removal tools go into.

What they haven't told you is if you put the facia back on there may be 4 grub screws in the four holes that need removing with a small allen key in order to get the removal keys in - another Vauxhall security measure
