Center dome ribbon plug came of

when taking off the rear interior light to fix a bulb, the plug of the flat cable, with center dome written on it, is broken off.

The small part is to short now to put it back into the plug.


Is it possible to fix this. I think soldering won't work?

If you're VERY careful you might be able to scrape back the plastic enough to expose the metal and make a new set of contacts. What is more likely though is that you'll be getting a new roof loom.

I couldn't manage to scrape. I've followed this http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...-(without-loom) and it works fine now.
