Default Fogs as Cornering Lights - Diagram?

Right next on the cards for me is to attempt this... Is Robsey or anyone about to have a look over this?

Would I need a resistor anywhere in this? would a 50k uf capacitor be ok for this as I've read 50k should give 2/3 seconds of power after the power source is cut?

    Cheers...

Yes it can. or you could also use the Philips set.. (that also works when just turning, without indicators)

i think that would flash the foglight like it would do the indicator, think you need something to 'latch' until the 12v is takien off when indicator is cancelled. Dont think that capacitor you've got in there would be able to sustain the coil voltage unless fairly high
Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services

The capacitor should hold it just for the brief period the indicator is out tho, in between pulses, surely? You dont usually need high power to activate the coil, the feed for the fog is taken from the dipped beam, or may even just use a fused 12v?...

Might have to just mock one up and test it for sake of a few quid...

However did we manage to go around corners before cornering lights were invented?

Personally I think it looks daft. Looks like someone coming round the corner with only one fog light working and can't be bothered replacing the bulb in the other one.

What next, flashing beacons on each corner of the car so pedestrians can see it?
