Started to feel a gap between the biting point and the clutch engaging. Gave it some spunk down the A4 from first and there is no clutch slip, its only a feeling at low speeds.

If it was a cable operated clutch, I'd get the spanners out and adjust the slack out. Why am I getting that symptom on a hydraulic system that can't be adjusted?

It's a 2006 with just under 40k.
