confused Water In Rear Light Cluster

Getting water in my rear light cluster drivers side tailgate (estate).
I dried it out thoroughly in an oven at work and put some rubber sealing strip all the way round inside to effectively make the existing seal thicker, but to no avail. I can't see any cracks anywhere either.

Has anyone else had this or any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

Had this on a couple of cars; drilled the smallest hole I could at the bottom to act as a drain. Cheaper than new light units.

Thought I'd investigate further today before spending any hard earned cash ,turns out the lens had partially unglued it's self from the grey plastic back moulding at the top. So a bit of superglue and some carefully applied silicon sealant all the way round the edge and all seems well now .
