Default VXR Brakes all round on my CDTi 150

Have just fitted 345mm VXR fronts and 292 VXR rears to my 150cdti Vectra. Using EBC Redstuff pads, and EBC grooved and drilled discs.

Results: No brake fade whatsoever + they only just fit under the original 17" Sri wheels! (Have to take the weights off the front wheels though).

Do this not mean you will get some wobbling? Can you feel the weight difference through the steering. I think police cram them in with their 17"s too.

Bet the set up is very good.

Apart from the blue paint, there's nothing actually specific to the VXR about the rears - they also appear on the 3.0 diesel, the lower-powered 2.8 (e.g. Elites) and the humble 2.0T.

Technically, there are slight differences with the VXR calipers from the standard 292mm. The handbrake mechanism is in a slightly different position, although they are completely compatible with the latter and I had one each side for a while when I fitted the to my old Signum...
