Never done this but am seriously considering HIDs as the brightest h7 is not bright enough!!!
How easy is it to fit? And what is the best one out there that dont need to adapt/retrofit customising etc. am looking for a straight fit! Advice??

Al kits are plug and play its really simple and just plugs into the existing loam on the car the plug that u plug ya bulb into I've got a cheap kit with cancerelers on my 07 and had no probes so far

All are plug and play but you need to make a large hole in the back of the headlight cover for the wires to run through.
Very easy indeed, total time including removal and replacement of front bumper is 20 mins to half hour.
very easy, and a must for the vec c imo, **** poor headlight power imo, will be one of the first things i do when i buy another
Once you take the bumper off ther will be a nice cosy place under the headlight to fit your ballast mate so easy to do
If u want humourbash I have 4 spare bulbs and 2 cover caps already pre drilled. U can have them free of charge just pay postage .... Pm if u want them
Do you need any bulb adaptors or anything? Seen these on e-bay.

Thanks for replies people, so just a cheap HIDs then? I wondered about the differences of 35w and 55w and dont fancy melting the plastic face of the headlights.
