    Default Clutch issue

    Hi All,

    Think I know what the replies are gona come back with but I have a 1.9SRI 120 vectra and today the clutch pedal went straight to the floor with no resistance and didnt return.

    Needless to say the clutch isnt working, im thinking it's going to be the slave cylinder but il welcome any other suggestions before I go down pulling the box out and doing the lot ie dmf clutch and slave cylinder.

    Nope doesnt appear to have im going to try and bleed it all tomorrow with a pressure bleeder im thinking though if I connect up the pressure bleeder and dont release any bleed nipples I should be able to see if theres a leak. Im just really confused that it went from working this morning to bang and it was broken. There just isnt any pressure behind the pedal at all

    Almost certain this is the slave cylinder now I put the pressure bleeder on it this morning and before opening the bleed valve and pretty much the entire reservoir for the pressure kit emptied straight away and fluid leaking from the bell housing. had a dual mass rattle for a few months as well so new clutch cylinder and DMF anyone no any reasonable suppliers around Gloucestershire way?

    Just bought a LUK clutch CSC and dual mass for £460 from eurocarparts they have an offer on at the moment of 15% of clutch and dual mass use the code CLUTCH15 on there online checkout, you can also use that and select collect from store which is what I did and went and grabbed it 10 minutes later

    You could have used A1 Clutches at Tipton (1 hour up the road from you) who did mine for £650 all in, sorry about the late reply

    Oh well win some lose some, im making progress slowly, for anyone thats done this do you completely remove the drive shafts both sides or just separate them from the transmission? and if the latter how do you fully separate them?

    grrrrrr Euro car parts gave me the wrong clutch would have had it all done if it wasnt for that, back there tomorrow to exchange it :-(
