dab radio vectra c

hello again ! im after a dab radio for a vectra c . i was going to put a sony dab inplace of the standard radio but was wondering if i will lose the on board lcd display ? or will a vauxhall dab fit in easily without an external ariel ?? many thanks ..i mean external dab ariel

Vauxhall DAB can be fitted but you'll need a CDC40, DAB box and the DAB aerial for it to work. It'll have to be paired to the screen too. You'll lose some bits of the screen too if you fit none VX kit and possibly access to the on board computer. The half-can cars had the buttons on the wiper stalk to control the computer but the full can cars have it on the radio. Looking at your display picture yours is a full can car!

The scroller wheels and buttons of the steering also control the on board computer. I have a CDC40 and screen lying under the bed that I removed to fit the CD70 and colour screen. The DAB box and Ariel are still on the car. I'm intending put the CDC40 back in with the Colour screen but funds are holing that back as I need the CD70 reset and I don't have the codes for it from the car it came from. Would nearly be tempted to sale them to get much needed funds, just between two minds about it all at the min.
