    Default Changing display/stereo

    Hi all,

I'm awaiting delivery of a paired CD30 + 3 row screen. Question is, is this just a direct replacement and off i go or do i need tech 2 or any such thing?

I currently have a CD30 with 2 rows, got the 3 row BC-capable screen with a paired stereo 2nd hand.

    Thanks in advance.

If they are still paired, then it is plug n play.

Tech 2 or Vauxcom will be needed to change BC settings, (no car pass required)

Tech 2 or Vauxcom will be needed if they are not already paired. (car pass required).

If you find the fuel consumption figures are inaccurate, or the display doesn't look right, then you may still need a bit of tweaking with a Tech 2 or Vauxcom programmer.

You wont need the car pass for this, as the security settings are not touched.

Ok thank you. I will see what happens when it arrives. Might be on the hunt for some Tech 2 help soon if all is not well. I think I have the car pass anyways so all good.

    Thanks
    Stuart
