As above on the pipes, check the pipes above the egr to make sure none have been damaged .
And also look for signs of fuel leaks in the same area ,
Failing that then its probably best to have the codes read

DTI engine layout 2.jpgDSCF0003AA.jpgDSCF0002AA.jpgDSCF0001AA.jpgpic 1001 vacuum hose.jpgMarc the leak off pipes on these engine are at the front of block , find the 4 fuel inlet feed,s silver in colour 2 each side of the egr and the leak off pipes will be next to them (Visible in pic 5 between inlet manifold and camshaft cover)
For the vacuum pipes go to right hand side of the engine (looking from the front ) there will be a circular shapped object with two pipes coming off it this is the vacuum pump the thinner tube that comes out from the bottom is your vacuum feed from there they split out to the solenoids on the bulkhead above the radiator
and to the turbo and manifold . Can not give an exact description as they vary between models and year of manufacture and also where it was made (the other picks show you the vacuum hose setup in this case for a 2.0 DTi with tps )

It won't be the pipes it's the anti shudder flap not opening on start up. It's either faulty valve or the flap is jammed. Pull the pipe off that tucks just under the front of the engine cover that goes to a little vac cell just after the boost pipe hose goesto the throttle body. Block the hose off after and car will drive perfect but will turn off with a shudder shake. You can just about reach the pipe with the cover still on. If it's just the vac side of it that's holding it shut you will hear it clunk open when u pull the pipe if not push the linkage with your finger if it's jammed with soot and carbon. It's the pipe in the last picture in the post above and you can see the linkage there aswell.
