    Exclamation Cracked head (Help/advice needed in chester)NW

    hi guys ,
    how is everyone? not been online for
    a long long time but I've come back in need of some advice / help

    for the
    last few months after i found out I've got a slight crack in the cylinder head ( z22se engine )
    near #1 but still runs ok though. is there anyone that can fix this issue or
    recon the head and know where i can get it done and price please before it gets
    too bad.

    Best getting a recon head mate.

    Abything else won't be a permanent fix.

    contact Birkenhead engine centre they usually good at prices an even cheaper if you can remove head yourself

    And that's probably your problem if its the blue/green stuff. The se heads can crack round plug one mainly down to over tightened plugs but its also been found that heavy corrosion due to the wrong antifreeze can lead to it going.

    Make sure you fully flush the system an fit red OAT stuff

    Are right, could still be an overtightened plug though that has caused the damage. My head cracked years back but it was round the back above the exhaust manifold.
